Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette [REVIEW]

October 21, 2018

Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone!

I just upload a new video on my Instagram. A quick tutorial on how I did my eye makeup using this Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette. This is actually my go-to eyeshadow because they have all neutral colours here, and if I want something glam, I just put the shimmer eyeshadow on top of the eyelid then I'm good to go. It is made for endless mixing and matching tho, so you could never go wrong with this palette.

It is very pigmented, easy to blend and minimum fallout. I love to make smokey eyemakeup using this palette because it is so easy to blend and easy to work with. Each shade is made with tarte's iconic, super blendable Amazonian clay infused powder that glides on like a cream, and intense payoff that never chalky or patchy. Plus, it does smell good too! Like a vanilla. I understand they include Vanilla extract in this product so I think that's why.

As you can see, this palette consist of 12 warm and cozy shades (7 wearable matte, and 5 lustrous shimmer). I usually used the matte shade for my transition colour, and darken the crease using the darkest shade in the palette which is 'Fireside'. That's how normally I do my makeup using this palette (I will provide my video down below for your references).

Here are the swatches from the palette. Please keep in mind this is the original photos from my camera. I did not edited it, change the colour or anything. This is 100% from my camera without edit.

From left: Fireside, Latte, Cozy, Warmth, Cashmere, S'more

From Left: Simmer, Candle, Flame, Crackle, Sunset, Sunrise

If you focus on the shade 'Crackle', it is actually matte. But it has a small gold glitter in it which I'm impressed. I didn't noticed it before until I do those swatches on my hand haha!

All 12 shades:
  1. S'more (pinky beige)
  2. Sunrise (golden beige)
  3. Sunset (bronze)
  4. Crackle (brown with gold flecks)
  5. Cashmere (pale peach)
  6. Warmth (terracotta)
  7. Flame (metallic rust)
  8. Cozy (brick)
  9. Candle (champagne)
  10. Latte (tan)
  11. Simmer (copper)
  12. Fireside (deep plum)

You can get this eyeshadow from Sephora, and it cost RM165.00
