Nose Corrector Review (Non-surgical Nose Job??)

October 01, 2015

Assalamualaikum and Hi!

About 3 years ago, I saw a video of Michelle Phan (I believe most of you girls know her. She is a famous beauty guru in Youtube) and in that makeup tutorial video, she actually show us how did she enhanced the shape of her nose in non-surgical way. She insert a 'thing' into her nostrils in order to make the tip of the nose appear higher and taller. My reaction that time was 'WTH she just put in her nose???'. Sounds scary, right? And a few months later, I saw a video from MyInvisibleChyrsalis, and she actually did a review about that 'thing' in her video. That scary feeling turn into curiosity and I really wanted to try it out.

And...... guess what? Few days ago, I receive that 'thing', and I can now share it with you guys! Wohoo! Okay so what is this 'thing' actually? It is called a Nose Corrector, and basically it help to change the shape of your nose so you can have a taller, and more define nose shape without going under the knife. Refer the images below:

Bendy plastic.
As you can see, it come with 3 sets of nose corrector in 3 different sizes (S, M, and L) so you can choose which one is the right size for your nose. Very convenient, right? Oh did you see that 'hook' thingy? I'm not sure what does it called but you will need that when you want to remove the nose corrector from you nostrils.

I'm going to show you how to use this product, and before and after pictures. But I just want to let you know that I'm currently not feeling very well, I'm having a flu right now so there is no way I could put the product into my nose. So sorry about that. But thank God one of my housemate is kind enough to help me demonstrate it for you and see how it looks like after using the nose corrector.

  • Choose the right size for your nose.
  • Insert the top-part first, then pinch the tip of your nose so the product will not move around otherwise it could be hard to put it in. Then, try to insert the bottom part. *this step might take a while since you're not getting  used to it yet.
  • Adjust the nose corrector until you're happy with the way it makes your 'new' nose shape turn out.
  • To remove, simply use the 'hook' and pull the nose corrector out from the nostrils.

Before and after picture. Can you tell the differences? Look a bit taller and pointier.

If you're wondering, she is actually used the one in the size S (the smallest one) since her nostril is a bit small. It won't fit the other sizes. So yeah, S size it is!

Okay so to be honest, at first it was very hard to put it in although it is bendy plastic product. Because we never try a product like this before, so we both (my friend and I) struggled to insert and adjust it. But once you get used to it and learn the proper way to insert into the nostrils, then it's a lot easier and the process took only about a few sec.

Definitely feels very awkward because the nose shape is then different, and feels like somebody stretching your nose from the inside haha! Feels very uncomfortable because I'm not used to have a 'thing' inside my nose. And I don't think I can wear this for a long period. Don't get me wrong, it does what it says. It makes the nose look taller and narrower. Especially if you naturally have a tall nose bridge but you still not satisfy enough with the tip and want to make it slightly higher, then maybe you want to try out this product? And see how it looks like since it is a non-surgical process, no injection required, and a lot cheaper then those two.

My advice, if you want to use this product, go ahead. But make sure to put on the right size. If it's too big for your nose, it will make it too tall and push the tip of the nose higher than the nose bridge. You definitely don't want that, it looks weird! But if it's too small for your nose, there will be no different from your natural nose. So again, choose the right size, okay?
